Going Vegan-Cruelty Free

IT’S TIME TO TAKE A STAND!

From cosmetics, hair, hygiene, baby, scent, cleaning and almost every imaginable product in between … literally shocked to discover the sheer numbers of recognizable “big name” companies that currently participate in animal testing of their products here in the United State.   For a complete listing go to Mediapeta.com.

It is time to let your current and newly elected officials know that this inhumane practice of animal testing in our beauty and household products industry needs to stop. This testing is especially senseless; in light of the fact that validated alternative testing currently exist, with almost 50 tests to date having been approved for use.   Tell them the United States should follow suit of the 28 countries in the European Union who have banned cosmetic testing in January 2014 to include banning the outsourcing of their products for testing to other countries not participating in the Ban and the import of those tested products.ban the import and sale of cosmetic products and ingredients that have been newly animal-tested anywhere in the worldban the import and sale of cosmetic products and ingredients that have been newly animal-tested anywhere in the world

Up to 90% of animals used in U.S. labs are not counted in the official statistics of animals tested. Take a stand by kidnapping your friends’ products that were tested on animals (seriously!). Sign up for Kidnapped Cosmetics.
